Some of you know already, what's going on! after 10 years, we decide to close Neptune dive center for a while! May be it's not for ever, we never know, we keep all our gear and boats!
during this years, we met so beautiful people, a lot of them are now our friends! we miss you and Saint-Martin is a so small island, so may be we'll see you in another place and take a drink together! we keep our email, neptunedivecenter@gmail.com, so feel free to contact me for yours questions about diving, hotels or restaurants, I'll be very happy to help you!

"mon neveu" et sa bande sont des plongeurs heureux!! première fois qu'ils plongent avec nous, en plus de notre vie marine, ils ont eu dauphins et le top du top baleines! ce sera dur de mieux faire!! ta vieille tante!! Sylvie!!!!lol

ARTS MARTIAUX ET PLONGEE

Au mois de mars dernier, l'école de Judo de Concordia à Saint-Martin, a fait venir un grand Maitre en Arts Martiaux, Thierry Durand, venu proposer un stage de SARC, methode de combat! nous avons eu de la chance de le rencontrer ainsi que son épouse, tous les deux plongeurs, nous avons eu grand plaisir de leur faire découvrir nos fonds marins!!
In March, the school judo of Concordia to Saint-Martin, invited a Sensei of martial arts, to propose a course of SARC, a fighting method! we're lucky to meet him and his wife, both divers, we'd the great pleasure to show them our underwater marine life!!

They're so nice, repeat guests, we really enjoy them, we'll see them for others dive trip in June! they're good divers! what we like with some so nice people, we forget the commercial relation for friendly relation!! for our next trip to N-Y, we hope they'll join us for 'the dinner' with our divers ( friends!!)!!

ils sont tellement super, ce n'était pas la première fois qu'ils plongeaient avec nous! nous les adore et les reverons pour d'autres plongées en juin! ce que nous aimons avec des gens si gentils, c'est que la relation commerciale change en relation amicale! pour notre prochain séjour à New-York, nous espèrons qu'ils seront présent pour 'le dîner' avec nos plongeurs(amis!!)

Fabien and I went for several days to the Big Apple! we organized this trip to invite our guests friend for an appetizer buffet in the city! some people couldn't come, to far or buzy, but anyway we had a fun time with very nice people who miss us!! the dinner was situated in a french restaurant and of course french menu!! with punch and french wines, the food was so delicious, we thank of lot the team of 'LE TOUT VA BIEN' restaurant, very nice and friendly! we really enjoy New York, and I had a favorite for this city and hope to be back soon!!

Fabien et moi-même sommes allés passer quelques jours à la grande pomme! nous avions organisés ce séjour pour inviter nos clients et amis pour un apéritif dînatoire en ville! malheureusement quelques personnes n'ont pu venir, trop loin ou déjà pris; de toute façon nous avons passé une excellente soirée avec des gens super qui nous manque! la soirée se déroulait dans un restaurant français, avec un menu français bien sur!! avec un planteur, du vin français, la nourriture était excellente! nous tenons à remercier toute l'équipe du restaurant 'LE TOUT VA BIEN' qui ont été super pro et très gentils! nous avons adoré New-York, et j'ai vraiment eu un coup de coeur pour cette ville, j'espère que nous y retournerons bientôt!!

un petit clin d'oeil à l'escadron de Pontcharra, venu passer trois mois à Saint-Martin; une équipe de gendarmes très sympa, dont beaucoup se sont joints à nous pour plonger, passer des formations! parmi eux Gérald le BEES1, Cédric, Matthieu, Julien, Arnaud, Rodolphe, Fabrice et tous les autres! merci à vous et bonne continuation!

YOSHINOUE NEW OPEN WATER DIVER since May

Yoshinoue is a repeat guest and a friend with her husband Matt from NY! they come every year for one week! Matt is a diver from long time and dove with us from many years now! this year Yoshinoue decided to pass the open water dive; she took her elearning with Padi on line, in japanase more easier for her, and so arrived to the rest of the course! it was so easy for her and we're so happy for her and Matt!! congratulations Yoshinoue!!

Yoshinoue est une cliente et amie, avec son mari Matt de NY! ils viennent tous les ans pour une semaine! Matt est plongeur depuis des années, et plonge depuis longtemps avec nous! cette année Yoshinoue était décidée à passer son open water; elle s'est inscrite sur le site de Padi pour son elearning, en japonais plus facile pour elle; elle est venue chez nous donc pour finir le reste de sa formation! tout a été très facille pour elle, et nous sommes ravis pour elle et Matt!! fécilitations Yoshinoue

ça y est nos vacances à Orlando sont finies! retour à Saint-Martin!! des vacances géniales, nous avons fait 5 parcs (Universal studio, island of adventures, sea world, aquatica et wet'n wild); nous avons vu des endroits merveilleux, rencontré des gens d'une gentillesse, du shopping au "Orlando Premium Outlets" à faire absolument car les prix sont cassés pour toutes les grandes marques (Timberland, Levi's, Diesel, Guess...)!!!

Our vaction in Orlando are finished! Back to Saint-Martin!! amazing holidays, we did 5 parks (Universal studio, island of adventures, sea world, aquatica and wet'n wild); we visited wonderful places, met some friendly people, shopping to "Orlando Premium Outlets" make absolutely, prices are so cheap for all big name (Timberland, Levi's, Diesel, Guess...)!!!

Patrick et sa famille sont revenus nous voir cette année!! après des années en Guadeloupe, ils ont définitivement adopté Saint-Martin! Plongeur N3, cette année encore il a fait avec nous une dizaine de plongée!! cette année encore, nous avons pu prendre l'apéro ensemble et diner, rendez-vous pris pour l'année prochaine!

Patrick and his family came again this year! after several years in Guadeloupe, they definitly adopted our island, Saint-Martin!! diver with level 3 in ffessm(french underwater federation), he dove with us around 10 dives!! this year also we took together apetizer and dinner, we already took an appointment for the next year!!

everybody know us, neptune dive center was created by Fabien and me!! most or guests know our family and for sure our daughters!! last sunday was their day! in the morning, our first daughter, Uhaïna had a competition of windsurf with our neighbour wind adventures! this center created activities for young people in windsurfing or hobby cat and also sail boat! Uhaïna loves the sea, she's a diver, but also a sailor! Sunday they didn't have so much wind but all the children had a fun time!! our second daughter Lùna was also busy all the day with the parade of carnival in Marigot! like the dailyherald wrote about " a rainbow of colorful costumes brightened up an otherwise overcast!!

tous les personnes qui nous connaissent savent que Fabien et moi-même avons crée neptune dive center comme un club familial! nos clients nous connaissent à nous mais aussi nos enfants!! dimanche dernier était leur journée!! le matin, notre première fille,Uhaïna avait une compétition de planche à voile avec le club wind adventures, nos voisins! ce centre a crée beaucoup d'activités pour les jeunes que ce soit en planche à voile, hobbie-cat ou voilier! Uhaïna adore la mer, c'est une plongeuse mais aussi une navigatrice!! dimanche ils n'ont pas eu beaucoup de vent mais ont passé un super moment!! notre seconde fille, Lùna était trés occupée avec la parade du carnaval des enfants à Marigot! comme le journal dailyherald a écrit "un arc en ciel de costumes colorés qui a égayé un temps couver!!

une famille formidable

durant la deuxième semaine de janvier, nous avons eu une famille formidable de plongeurs, en passant par la plongeuse la plus expérimentée, Béa, à la plus novice, Marie!! une belle semaine de plongée avec une météo un peu capricieuse, nous avons passé une superbe dernière soirée ensemble autour d'une pina colada!! on espère les revoir l'année prochaine!

during the second week of January, we had a fantastic family of divers, with Béa, diver with a lot of experience and Marie, beginner divers!! a nice week of diving with capricious weather, we passed our last evening together around a pina colada!! we hope to see them next year!

Pat et Nath sont venus passer leurs vacances au Club Orient! quoi de plus facile pour des plongeurs de venir chez nous, puisque nous sommes à 100 m sur la plage du club orient! les monos Jérémy et Laurent ont eu la joie de leur montrer nos plongées à Saint-Martin et eux de nous apprendre la coûtume de casser la marmitte en chocolat!! nous garderons le contact avec eux grace à Facebook, en espérant les revoir, surtout que Pat est un professionnel de l'informatique et ici nous en avons grand besoin!!!!!

Rémy a séjourné à Saint-Martin en même temps que nos "4 filles"!! venu à SXM pour faire un stage de Kite avec nos voisins de wind adventure mais également pour faire une dizaine de plongéeS!! Malheureusement pour ses cours de kite le vent n'était pas au rendez-vous!! il a donc profité de son séjour pour passer avec nous son niveau II ffessm; il a fait également quelques soirées avec nous, surtout avec les moniteurs et sa dernière soirée, tous ensemble autour d'un apéritif dinatoîre! Ne m'en veut pas Rémy, je publie la vidéo de la petite blague que Fabien t'as faite!!

Rémy stayed in Saint-Martin, in the same period of our "4 girls"!! came to sxm for kite surf cours with our neighbour Wind Adventure but also for some dives!! Unfortunetly for the kite surf, the wind was not there!! so he decided to pas the level II FFESSM; he did also some evening with us, especially with the instructors and his last, all together for an "apéritif dinatoîre"(typically french concept)!Sorry Rémy, I post the video about the joke with Fabien!!

Souvent quand les gens vont en vacances quelque part, ils repartent avec de bons souvenirs mais également contents d'avoir rencontré des gens sympa! Mais l'inverse est vrai pour nous aussi! nous avons eu un grand plaisir à plonger pendant deux semaines avec nos "4 filles" qui s'inscrivaient elle-même sur le planning des plongées!! "les 4 filles", plus court que d'inscrire les prénoms!! Des supers plongeuses, grandes plongeuses!! c'est avec joie que nous leur avons fait découvrir nos fonds marins! nous espèrons qu'un jour elles reviendront à Saint-Martin

Sometimes when people go in vacation, they go back with good memories but also happy met nice people! but the reverse is true for us too! we'd the pleasure to dive during 2 weeks with our "4 girls" which subscribe themselves on dive planning, "4 girls" shorter than 4 firstname

dimanche était une belle journée pour plonger, la mer était super calme(important pour Vincent qui a le mal de mer mais qui plonge par tout temps quand même) et son beau frère Patrick venus en vacances! une petite plongée sur Caye Verte, où tortues, barracudas, mérous, raies ainsi que tous les autres poissons étaient au rendez-vous!

la météo du mois de juillet n'a pas été super cette année! il vaut mieux attendre de bonnes conditions météo plus tôt que de faire absolument plonger nos clients dans une mer médiocre, Serge, Matt et Rhytm ne diront pas le contraire!!

they came from Colorado to Sint-Maarten; staying in the dutch side in a time share they joined us for some diving; so nice people, and Tim speak a little french, great, they passed with us fun time on diving and myself with them had also a fun time to the center when Kim lost her credit card under the deck!! we used a lot of tools, a broom, a range, a hanger and finally Tim won with the groom! we took a nice picture also when Tim checked his mails!

Ils sont venus du Colorado, et séjournent à Sint-Maarten en time share; ils nous ont rejoint pour quelques plongées! c'est un couple vraiment super, et Tim parle même un petit peu de français; ils ont vraiment apprécié la plongée et j'ai moi-même passé un bon moment avec eux au centre quand Kim a perdu sa carte de crédit à travers les planches du deck! nous avons utilisé beaucoup d'outils, un balai, une fourchette, un cintre et c'est finalement Tim qui a gagné avec le balai!! nous avons pris un super photo quand Tim a consulté ses mails sur mon ordi!

yesterday, one man came to us for information about our snorkeling trip! after some details he explained they're in a cruise ship"Royal Carribbean" and they came in group! 40 people!! they're neighours in Ohio, and one of them organize their trip! so nice!! let's go, 28 people decided to go and have fun time!

hier, une personne est venu demander des informations sur notre excursion plongée libre!! après les infos, il m'expliqua qu'ils faisaient une croisière sur le "Royal Caribbean", ils sont venus en groupe! 40 personnes!! ce sont des voisins, résidant dans l'Ohio, et l'un d'eux a décidé d'organiser cette croisière!! finalement 28 personnes ont décidé de faire l'excursion et passer un bon moment!!

deux copains venus de métropole pour 3 semaines à Saint-Martin! ils sont venus faire un baptême avec Fabien, qui les a invités ensuite au second départ à découvrir l'île de Tintamarre! ils sont venus pour découvrir notre île, nous avons eu le plaisir de leur faire découvrir Saint-Martin, côté mer et nature!!

Anthony is now in the plane to go back to Phoenix. he came with his wife and his son to Alamanda resort hotel, just behind us. he passed his advanced open water course Padi with Fabien! he project to be an instructor and have his own business! soon they'll move to LA, but no for scuba diving ( he said me too cold)! he've a friend course director PADI, so for sure he'll continue his course!!!

Shame on me!! I give you more details!! Fabien is the boss and the instructor!! Me I take care about the center, I'm a diver like you but I didn't dive for manytime!! Trust me!! last week I started again to dive; we'd to close the center and I really appreciate my dive with our guests!! we've a proverb in french " THE SHOEMAKER'S SON ALWAYS GOES BAREFOOT"

Fabien est le patron et le moniteur!! moi je m'occupe du centre, je suis une plongeuse comme vous mais je n'ai pas plongé depuis longtemps!! croyez-moi!! la semaine dernière j'ai recommencé à plonger, nous avons fermé le centre et j'ai vraiment appréciée ma plongée avec nos clients!! comme le proverbe " c'est le cordonnier le plus mal chaussé!!"

NEW SUNSET TO TINTAMARRE

Samedi dernier, nous nous sommes donnés rendez-vous à 17h avec nos plongeurs et amis, pour un coucher de soleil à Tintamarre, un petit apéritif pour célébrer la formation de François et de David!! François est venu avec sa femme d' Arcachon, c'est un pompier professionnel, il a passé son niveau 1 FFESSM ainsi qu'une passerelle pour l'Open water Padi haut la main; Egalement David, qui quelques temps auparavant a passé son niveau 1 FFESSM avec nous, sportif également, et comme nous, résidents de Saint-Martin!!

Last sathurday, we had a meeting at 5 pm with our divers and friends for a sunset to Tintamarre, an apetizer to celebrate the certification for François and David! François came with his wife from Arcachon, he's a professional firefighter, he passed his level 1 FFESSM with also padi open water level, very easily! Also David passed his level 1 FFESSM few time before with us, also sport man and like us leaves in Saint-Martin!!

Marine aurait dû passer ses vacances en Guadeloupe, mais vus les évènements du début d'année, elle a finalement passé ses vacances chez nous à Saint-Martin!! elle a repris goût à la plongée avec nous! nous avons passé sa dernière soirée ensemble avec d'autres plongeurs pour un petit apéritif au coucher du soleil à Tintamarre, expérience à renouveler, et finir la soirée à la maison autour d'un petit repas sympa!!

Marine had to pass her vacations in Guadeloupe, but finally with their problem in the begining of the year( 2 months on strike), she passed her vacation to Saint-Martin!! after a bad experience last year in scuba diving, she started again with us and enjoyed it! she passed her last evening with us and others divers for an apetizer for the sunset to Tintamarre, nice moment, and finish the evening at home around a nice dinner!!

Matt and Yoshino from New-York

Matt and his wife Yoshino came for the second time to visit us; they stayed again in hotel in orient bay! Matt is a certified diver and Yoshino not but dive in discover scuba diving!! they're so nice, we'd the pleasure to invite them at home for a pina colada, Yoshino did an interview especially for us in japanese and they promise to us to come next year and Yoshino'll be a certified diver!!!

Normalmente, tenemos mas buceadores de América, un poco de Europa, pero aqui, esta semana, un grupo de Barcelona!! Pablo, Oscar y Miquel han buceando con nosotros!estaban aqui para kite surf pero durante dias sin viento, bucear!!!!esperamos ver ellos una otra vez!!

ils sont venus en famille séjourner à Saint-Martin; ils ont choisi un hôtel de la baie orientale, le palm-court hôtel; bel endroit, mais aussi très proche de nous, pas besoin de voiture, le trajet se fait à pied! ils ont eu le plaisir de voir beaucoup de chose!

Johnattan est venu avec sa famille pour une semaine à Saint-Martin. une famille de plongeurs et de plongée libre pour Madame!! les garçons voyagent avec tout leur matériel, c'est pour dire, ils sont vraiment venus pour des vacances plongées!! Mercredi, ils vont passer la journée à St Barth, et nous les avons tout naturellement orienter chez Stéphan "Splash" à Gustavia!!

Jérôme, Aurélien, Hélène et Gael sont venus passés un long week-end à Saint-Martin, venus en voisins, depuis la Martinique, groupe de plongeurs niveau 2, Fabien leur a fait découvrir tous les matins nos plongées d'ici, nos îles sont proches mais nos plongées différentes!! ils ont également eu le plaisir de visiter notre île et bien sur Saint-Martin by night!!

aujourd'hui, c'est un jour férié sur Saint-Martin, fête de l'abolition de l'esclavage "schoelcher" mais c'est également l'anniversaire de Fabien, 45 ans, ce matin un bon petit groupe de plongeurs confirmés ainsi que nos deux derniers open water formés par Fabien!! Bon Anniversaire big Boss!!

Jérome, plongeur français, prépare son MF1 à Nantes;il est venu plonger chez nous pendant deux semaines! vacancier explorateur, c'est par le guide du 'petit futé' qu'il nous a trouvé! il a adoré les plongées à Saint-Martin; il a été aussi très surpris de notre attention envers nos plongeurs, c'est à dire équiper tout leur matériel, leur porter les blocs, les équiper sur le bateau et de même pour le retour, s'occuper de tout nettoyer! il est vrai que les plongeurs français ne sont pas habitués à tant d'attention, mais Jérome s'est lui rapidement habitué! il nous a promis que si un jour il revenait sur la Caraîbe, il viendrait obligatoirement nous voir!!

Jérome, french diver, actually in course for instructor in Nantes; he came diving with us during 2 weeks! holiday explorer, he found us by the very popular french guide 'le petit futé'! he really enjoyed his dives in Saint-Martin; he was also very surprise about our attention for ours divers, we prepare all the gear and carry on to the boat, also after the dive, all the divers take the ladder without their gear on, the same thing when the boat go back to the center!! in general the french divers are not used so attention but finally he really enjoyed!! Jérome promise to us if he come back in the Caribbean, he'll come to visit us again!!

joy is a dutch girl, did a break on Saint-Martin, worked to the Westin Hotel; she left yesterday to visti others caribbean islands; she did an interview for us in dutch, so we have to believe her about she said!!!!!

Jimmy and Abby come every year to Saint-Martin; this year just Jimmy dove with because Abby is pregnant so! normally next year they'll come with their baby, they don't know yet if it's a boy or a girl, but they promise to us to send news! they're really nice, we hope to see them next year!!

Thierry fait partie de nos nombreux plongeurs qui reviennent règulièrement à Saint-Martin! une petite semaine de vacances sur notre île pour décompresser et faire quelques plongées! il nous a rejoint comme il se doit, chez nous pour fêter les niveaux d'Ashley et Matthew autour du verre de l'amitié!!

Orient bay is a big family! who try it once, will be back there the next time!

we met Bob with his friends many years before, and happy to see them every year. today he came with Dan for his discover scuba diving, and be back in september for his open water!! and for sure for the homemade pinacolada Fabien's!!!

Patrick, Véro son épouse et leurs enfants Pauline et Charles, viennent pour la première fois à Saint-Martin, ils connaissent beaucoup d'autres îles, mais c'est définitif, nous les reverrons l'année prochaine. ils séjournent sur orient bay, à l'hôtel Cap Caraïbes! Pour tous les vacanciers, l'avantage d'Orient bay, et que vous trouvez tout sur place, hôtels, restaurants, plage avec toutes les activités, et tout cela à pied, pas besoin de voiture!

Patrick, bon plongeur, doit finir son divemaster cet été, nous avons pu lui faire découvrir, nos superbes plongées, et nous avons eu le plaisir de faire le baptême de plongée de sa fille Pauline, qui s'est trouvée une nouvelle amie sur l'île, notre fille Uhaïna!

Mark and Isabelle dove already with us, but this year they let the children at home! Normally Mark is seasick but now he came with patch! perfect he enjoyed his dives and felt well!
we hope to see them next year again!!

les frangins sont retournés en Métropole hier; Christian et Gilbert viennent chez nous depuis quatre ans, deux semaines par an de plongée chez nous; pour leur dernière plongée vendredi matin, ils ont pu plonger avec un groupe de dix gros dauphins, moment toujours magique et inoubliable!

the brothers left yesterday; Christian and Gilbert come every year from 4 years, two weeks per year for scuba diving with us; friday morning, for their last dive,they dove with a ten dolphins group, magic moment and unforgettable!
